I have never subscribed to the ‘rule’ that white cannot be worn after Labor Day, and I especially LOVE white in the winter. As long as you layer and include different textures, there’s no reason an all white look can’t work in colder months! And even if you don’t want to go all white in winter, a pop of white always works IMO (I just recommend sticking to a neutral palette in colder months) – see photo above of me in white jeans in winter. Yes it can be done! I rounded up a few of my favorite items for wearing white in winter.
Tops
Nothing is better than a white sweater – this one I have in the oatmeal color and it is truly worth every single penny. I want it in all of the colors, but white might be next on my list. I also love this turtleneck from J. Crew for layering and making white look more seasonally appropriate. I also love this thicker turtleneck from Dudley Stephens for winter!
Outerwear
This jacket is *stunning* and would look great with an all white ensemble or with blue jeans OR over a fancier look. I’m highly considering purchasing…
Bottoms
I love all my denim from Mother, and these are so cute for all seasons! I own a similar pair from Abercrombie a few years ago, and these are the closest style I’ve seen to them. A classic white jean in a more trendy style is my favorite look right now. Again, yes you can wear white jeans in the winter!!!
Accessories
Accessories are the best way to add texture and interest, especially to an all white look. Depending on how dressed up you’re going for, a white headband, hair clips, or a beanie and scarf add polish. These mittens may not be the most polished looking but I love them – even though it doesn’t get crazy cold in CA they would come in handy for night time soccer games! And of course you always need a white sneaker, no matter the season.

Hope this helps you in styling and wearing white this winter!
