Finallyyy back with a blog post! Between moving into a new apartment and starting senior year, it’s been a whirlwind of a month and I’m still trying to get into a solid routine. I’m super excited about this post though because I spent nearly a month planning this birthday party and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined!
If you don’t already know, I LOVE Mamma Mia! and thought it would be so much fun to make it my birthday party theme. From the ‘invites’ to the cookies, I’m going to share where I got everything!
Invites
It’s 2019 and the easiest way to send out an invite is via group chat, but I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to go all out with the theme! Plus, how else would everyone remember to wear blue and white? I made these in about 10 minutes using Canva. If you aren’t a master with Photoshop, this is the next best thing!
Custom Cups and Napkins
I ordered these both off of Etsy and was very impressed with both shops! The cups turned out perfect and have text printed on both sides. They also hold up amazing in the dishwasher, and I love that I have some leftover to remember my 21st! They also served as ‘party favors’ and my friends each got to take one home. The napkins also turned out super cute, I love that the text was done in foil!
Cake and Cookies
My cake was done by Loft 22 Cakes here in Fort Worth and they did an amazing job for such a great price. The cake also tasted so good. The cookies are from J. Rae’s and I freaked out when I first saw them!! They turned out better than I imagined!
My Outfit
I thought long and hard about this outfit y’all. In a perfect world, I would’ve worn this starry number, but that was a splurge I wasn’t willing to make. I ended up wearing this two-piece set from Dear Hannah and it was perfect! And it will work for game days in the future too.
My sash was from Etsy. You can custom order pretty much any color combo from this shop. The quality was great and it showed up so quickly!

I think that’s about it! The rest of the decor was either from Amazon or Target, and I just stuck to the blue and white theme. It was such a fun night and I’m so glad my friends were all willing to celebrate a bit late with me. If you plan your own Mamma Mia! party or use any of the Etsy shops I mentioned send me pics!!
