Holiday Gift Guide: For Grandpa

Struggling to find gifts for grandpa this holiday season? I’ve got you covered! My grandpa, Herb, emailed me asking if I’d do a gift guide for grandfathers. He offered some wonderful suggestions, many of which you’ll see here, and some that I sadly could not make happen. If anyone knows how to code an app that will tell your grandpa when he’s repeating a story he’s told you before, let us know!

Sweaters

Depending on your grandpa’s style, here are two different sweater options for him. I’ve gifted my grandpa a few of these Nordstrom brand sweaters over the years, and he has really liked them. He also requested a cardigan be included in this guide, and I thought this was a nice option!

Gadgets

My grandpa (jokingly) suggested I include hearing aids here, but I have no business making those kinds of recommendations. And also don’t have the funds – they’re pricey! Instead, how about a padded pouch to hold his hearing aids when he needs to take them out? If you want to get him other helpful gadgets, you could go with this highly rated reading light, or a milk frother for his coffee! Maybe even a beard comb from Tom Ford if you’re feeling fancy.

Cozy items

It’s always good to keep grandpa warm during the winter, especially if he lives where it sometimes snows! This flannel robe, electric blanket, and Ugg slippers were requested items from my grandpa that he knows yours would enjoy too.

Shoes

I went rogue here and added my own items to this gift guide for grandpa – shoes! However, these picks (7 & 10) were very much influenced by my grandpa because he always has a pair of stylish sneakers on when I see him.
