Before we get into this cookie recipe, I am so sorry for not having a post up on Monday! I was all over the place trying to get settled and back on track with schoolwork after the holiday. I thought I would have time to write one earlier this week, but I never got around to it. Life happens, y’all.
I’m glad we’re finally to the weekend though, because TCU is playing in the Big 12 Championship game tomorrow!! I can’t wait to cheer on the horned frogs one last time this season.
Anyways… I’m real excited about today’s post.
I asked if you guys wanted to see a recipe for white chocolate cranberry cookies (it’s a mouthful, I know) on my Insta-stories and 100% of you said yes!! These cookies are easy to make and perfect for the holidays! And if you’re not super into the white chocolate-cranberry combo, don’t worry! The dough can be used for chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, or any other type of cookie you’re craving!
I apologize in advance for the lack of high quality photos – the lighting in my kitchen is super weird and not conducive to pretty blog photos!
I’m sure y’all all know how to make cookies so I’ll just list my tips and tricks for you:
1. Don’t overdo it on the sugar.
2. When measuring flour, don’t scrape the top to make sure you have the exact right amount, it doesn’t need to be exact!
3. Always double the amount of vanilla the recipe gives you (I already doubled it in this recipe – don’t get crazy and put 4 teaspoons in!!).
4. Eyeball it on the craisins and chocolate chips (or whatever else you’re adding to your cookies)! Add however much looks good to you.
Happy baking!!
xx, C
