It’s been nearly two years since I graduated high school, but I still remember my grad party like it was yesterday. It was one of the best days ever and sometimes I wish I could go back and do it all over again – the sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the future was so exciting! I had so much fun planning my party and thought I’d share some pictures from my grad party with any of y’all who might be graduating this year!
Class of 2016!! Look how long and dark my hair was!
Here was the entrance to my party! I strung polaroids of childhood photos and some of my favorite high school memories on the wall. There was a cute bin designated for cards, my grad cap (which I am very proud of and still hangs on my wall today!), and my memory jar. This jar was such a great idea, and I love that the lid has a cutout of the horned frog on it! My best friend Emma made it for me (thank you thank you thank you Ems!!). So many sweet friends and family wrote down advice and memories that I love to look back on.
I think the dessert table was my favorite part (and also the most stressful). I made everything except the cupcakes, and was stressed out of my mind over the white chocolate covered Oreos and cookies! It all paid off though. Huge shoutout to my best friend Amanda for icing the cookies until midnight for me. I still owe you 😉
I also had a little photo booth set up to take pictures with my friends and family! I keep these in a photo album at school to this day!
I know this was a super short glimpse into my party, and I probably miss my high school days more than most, but I loved reminiscing. Graduating high school was such an exciting time, and I can’t believe I’m already halfway through college!! Time flies!
