Happy first day of fall! Though it’s not fall weather here yet, I’m definitely ready for slightly cooler temps. Until then, I’ll just be thinking about (and purchasing) all the fall things, from style to home decor. Here are the items that I’m eyeing or already own that feel perfect for the fall season!
Varley Quarter Zip
This sweatshirt is amazing. It’s pricey for sure, so I’d recommend checking out Poshmark or Ebay (I got mine brand new for over $100 less than retail pricing on Poshmark!), but it’s definitely worth the steeper pricepoint. I would pay full price for it! The sleeves and the collar detail make the sweatshirt look more chic/put together than a regular sweatshirt. The material is nice and thick, so perfect for cooler temps! It looks great with jeans or leggings which is a huge plus in my book. Note to take your smaller size! I’m a small/medium depending, and went for a medium in this, but could definitely do a small. It’s already a bit oversized anyways!
Striped Tee
You know I loved a striped tee!! Once the weather gets cooler, I usually opt to swap my short sleeve striped tees for long sleeves! I’ve heard great things about this one, and it comes in a bunch of color combos.
Denim Jacket
A denim jacket is generally a great closet staple, but I love it for fall. It looks great over a striped tee, or over a dress during transitional weather! The only denim jacket I currently own is my mom’s old J. Crew one from the 90s – it’s light wash a bit oversized, which I love! A true testament to the quality and timelessness of J. Crew. I’ve been eyeing this current J. Crew one for a darker wash and more fitted silhouette!
Fall Baking Book
I feel like I haven’t been baking much recently, but it’s one of my favorite activities. It’s a huge stress reliever for me! And something about fall baking captures the true essence of baking. There’s nothing better than creating pumpkin or apple flavored baked goods on a fall day! I typically stick to the same few recipes during fall, but this book might give me some new favorites!
Beige Sunglasses
Of course tortoiseshell sunglasses (my go-to) are great for fall, but something about this color is really speaking to me. I think it’s because we tend to lean towards darker colors in fall, and a tortoiseshell blends right in. But this beige-y color would be just as stylish, and I love that it’s neutral while bringing in something a little bit brighter! I don’t usually dress in dark colors in the warmer months (unless you count navy!!), so these would bring in a lighter color to my fall fashion! Plus, they’re just under $60 and super durable. What’s not to love!
Westman Atelier Blush Stick
This blush has made me a blush girl! I never wore blush regularly before purchasing, and now I put it on almost daily. I have this shade currently, but eyeing this one as a more fall-appropriate option!
Tortoiseshell Candles
Honestly, I think these would look great year-round, but especially for fall! They feel like a more subtle, sophisticated way to ‘decorate’ for the fall season. My all blue and white decor can feel a bit bright for fall, and I love using tortoiseshell to add warmer accents! Bonus: you can clean these out once you’ve used the candle and use them as vases, pencil holders, you name it!
Velvet Bow
My friend Sarah over at Grace & Grandeur makes these stunning velvet hair bows. And she just dropped her fall collection today! This green bow is next on my list, a color I love to wear in the fall. She was also so sweet to send me a bow in this gingerbread color, which is another amazing hue for fall/winter/holiday! These bows are such high quality and I feel like I’m channeling my inner Kate Middleton (see here), who is one of my favorites for fashion inspo!
Camel Detail Vejas
YOU GUYS. Is this me in a fall shoe, or what?! I just don’t think I’ll ever be a loafers/flats/booties girl (maybe when I’m older of if I ever get to work in an office!). I truly am a white sneakers year-round girl. This pair of Vejas (I love Vejas so much!) seems like the absolute perfect white sneaker for fall. It’s not all white, and it includes a pop of one of my very favorite fall neutrals. Sold!!
Merit Lip Gloss
Another new beauty obsession of mine! Again, not a huge lip gloss gal. More of a chapstick gal. But this isn’t sticky and is the perfect shade to add a little something without being too obvious or glossy. Perfect for fall because it’s not a bright color, but it’s not too dark – especially if you’re like me, a dark lip is not the move!
Olive Lululemon Aligns
I love my Align leggings. They are so comfortable, and I’m really picky when it comes to leggings. I love this olive green shade to add to the fall rotation as an alternative to black or navy blue.

Hoping the fall weather comes around soon so I can comfortably wear all my fall clothing!! Even something in the low 70s would do! Fall is truly one of my favorite seasons and I hope these finds inspire you as we transition into the new season. I also added a few additional fall favorites you can shop below that didn’t make their way into the collage.
Have a great start to the fall season!
