If you haven’t heard of the coastal grandmother trend, go check out Lex on TikTok before you keep reading. Done? Okay, good. Move over grandmillennial – it’s time for coastal grandmother! I actually love this term even more because I don’t have to feel weird about calling myself a millennial (millennial-gen-z cusper here!) and the coastal part feels very true to my California roots. It’s a less stuffy term, and feels more chic and stylish. Just think any Nancy Meyers film ever and you’ve got coastal grandmother aesthetic covered!
So here is everything I would buy this spring if I had unlimited spending money! And actually, many of these items would make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts if you’re in a pinch and can get them shipped in time. I already purchased this hat (veryyy Diane Keaton vibes), this bamboo cutlery set, this woven clutch, and this ring (which you may have seen in my Amazon jewelry post!). I would highly recommend each!
This Aerin perfume is PEAK coastal grandmother – it smells clean and fresh without being fake or headache inducing. I got a sample with my Sephora order and I almost cried when I ran out because I can’t justify the price tag ATM. Speaking of high price tags, this tote is all the rage lately and has been on my wishlist forever. It’s so stunning and perfect for the warmer months! I also am obsessed with these woven stools – I think I need for my future apartment?!
